There seems to be a consensus among some sectors that most floods and droughts are due to global warming, because of the increase in the earth's temperature. There is also who holds an opposite view. Answer
Although GW may be a contributory cause to some more recent floods and droughts these are all natural events that form part of the Earths nature, these events have been around for many millions of years.
The temperature of the planet is largely governed by the intensity of activity on the sun. When the sun is very active, solar wind increases, deflecting the cosmic rays that bombard the earth. Cosmic rays seed cloud formation, so fewer cosmic rays mean marginally fewer clouds over the planet and the earth very slowly warms up (the effect is buffered by the vast oceans of the planet). When the sun is quiescent (shown by the absence of sun spots), more cosmic rays reach the earth, cloud cover slowly increases and the earth slowly, slowly cools. The sun was very active until the end of the 1990s, and the temperature of the planet slowly increased. The sun is now quiescent (no sunspot activity at the moment) and so we are now in a period of global cooling, not warming. The notion that Manmade CO2 is the engine for global warming is erroneous. It is not going to cause "a flood." However, some areas are expected to see increase rainfall and therefore increased flooding. Melting ice and thermal expansion of seawater is expcted to raise sea levels somewhat.
the heat will make the water evaporate faster
Global Warming can affectthe Earth in many ways and everywhere!
There is no evidence that shows jaguars are being affected by climate change.
Tides are the result of gravitational forces between the Earth and moon. Global warming would little effect on tidal patterns although sea levels can be affected by global warming.
There is no evidence that global warming is affecting meerkats yet. However the warming is gradually affecting the food chains and habitats of many animals. If this happens, the animals have to migrate, adapt or die.
All climates will change.
Wolves, as far as we know, are not affected by global warming.
no but they get affected by global warming
Every country is affected by global warming.
Global Warming can affectthe Earth in many ways and everywhere!
Stratosphere is affected by global warming. Ozone layer is depleting day by day.
Everybody is affected by global warming. This phenomenon can the water supply, agriculture, the natural environment, and power and transportation systems.
North America is affected because all countries are affected. Global pollution is blown all over the world so all countries are experiencing global warming.
all animals and living organisms are affected by global warming, including zebras..
Yes.
The envoronment is affected by accident because of global warming.
yes the pandas food (bamboo) is dieing because of global warming
it brings global warming
