so yeah a gerbil can see

∙ 13y agoYou might want to consult your vet to reassure your suspicians. The evidence would be that the animal often bangs into things (though there could be other issues causing this) and that if you put your finger in front of his eyes (careful not to touch the whiskers) and he is unresponsive.

∙ 11y agoNo. Albino gerbils can see but if they're exposed to sunlight often, they can be seriously harmed. Also, albino gerbils can have shorter life expectancies.

∙ 11y agoNo- Gerbils do have some form of color vision (they can see UV light and they have a small number of cones). It is pretty different from human vision though.
