Depending on the team, piercings may or not be allowed. Many teams that participate in stunting, will require you to remove any piercings before participating. Other teams that do not do any stunting, will allow you to have piercings. If you are trying out for a team with traditional values, they may look down at peircings. No, all peircing must be removed while participating. you can have them you must take them out when actually cheering. It is a UCA(universal cheer association) rule!!!

∙ 11y agoWell, you can have your ears pierced, but when your cheering, they have you take them out for safety reasons, sorry!! It's in case your a flyer, because if you were coming out of a stunt, your earring could get caught on something, and it could seriously damage your ear.
