Are great white sharks dangerous

The whale shark is 40 ft. long but only eats plankton while the great white is the 2nd most dangerous sharks. I don`t see how they are monsters though. A shark attacking a human is no worse than a dolphin eating fish.

It depends on what you mean by dangerous.

An adult white is a big animal, with a mouthful of really sharp teeth.

Even if it only takes an exploratory nibble, you will be badly hurt.

So yeah, IF something happens, then it's usually bad.

But attacks on humans are very rare, making it quite pointless to worry about them.

More people are killed slipping and falling in the bathroom than by shark attacks in a year.

Great White Sharks are very dangerous, unpredictable animals. Only tiger and bull sharks attack more often, and the white is larger than these and can cause death just from an investigation bite. There are records of white sharks killing humans for food as well, including a few where the victim was swallowed entire.
