Green eyes are more rare than blue eyes. Brown eyes are the dominant characteristic, so they're not rare at all. Green eyes are rare, because it tends to occur when a brown-eyed/green-eyed couple have a baby. Most of the time, that baby will have brown eyes (since brown eyes are dominant). However, sometimes, the baby can have green eyes.
Amber is more rare than green
According to Wikipedia: Amber eyes are of a solid color and have a strong yellowish/golden and russet/coppery tint. This might be due to the deposition of the yellow pigment called "lipochrome" in the iris (which is also found in green and violet eyes).[16][17] They are nicknamed "Wolf eyes" due to the high rate of the amber eye color in wolves. Amber eyes should not be confused with hazel eyes; although hazel eyes may contain specks of amber or gold, they usually tend to comprise of many other colors, including green, brown and orange. Also, hazel eyes may appear to shift in color and consist of flecks and ripples; while amber eyes are of a solid gold hue. There is a picture of amber colored eyes there as well. My eyes are indeed the same color. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color MidnightFox7 = Yes, infact my eyes are amber.
Black and brown, not red as many people suggest
Definitely not. If you are talking in terms of blue eyes being rare - definitely not. Blue eyes are not rare, they are quite common. Anyway, it is a matter of opinion (mine is all eyes are pretty especially green and amber). NO eye colour is truly the "best", so don't go round saying that blue eyes are best.
They look light brown indoors but outside they show off their golden/greenish/orangey colour, especially in sunlight where they look like Twilight's vampire eyes. They are as rare as green eyes, however often mistaken to be called hazel. This is a modern misconception though, hazel eyes often have lots of dots and flecks when amber has solid patches and rings, and this effect makes one solid colour. Amber eyes are also called "Pure Hazel" (that's where the misconception comes in) "Wolf Eyes" "Cat Eyes" or even yellow eyes.
Yes, I have never heard of any one with green eyes red.
They are extremely rare only about 1000th of a percent of people have amber eyes. I have amber eyes and i have never met anyone with amber eyes

Most Bengal cats have green eyes but Bengal cats without green eyes are rare. my Bengal cat has green eyes
Yes! Green eyes are actually one of the rarest eye colours out there. Some may argue that violet eyes are, but really, violet eyes (I won't get too technical) are blue eyes but the way that the blood vessels are make them appear to have a purple tint. Excluding violet eyes, only 1-2% of the world has green eyes, many of Celtic/German descent. Furthermore, anybody who is born with green eyes usually also have blonde hair. So, the fact that you have brown hair also makes you more rare. I have the same thing - I have dark brown hair with emerald green eyes and people tell me as well that I have a rare face. Many believe that blue eyes are more rare - but think about it - how many people do you personally know with green eyes?
Yes, here are all the cat eye colors: Blue, Green, Aquamarine (rare), Yellow, Amber, and Brown. Cats can have their eyes be two different colors like one can be blue and another can be green. I hope this helped!
although it is rare, most breeds can have gold or amber eyes, but commonly have brown, as I'm sure you know.
Brown Eyes are Dominant, Blue Eyes are recessive, Green Eyes are Dominant over Blue and Recessive to Brown Eyes, Same for Hazel. ACTUALLY!!!!...Green Eyes are more recessive than any eye color including Blue Only 2% of the Worlds Population have them! WRONG!!!!... Green Eyes ARE dominant over blue. It's just that the Green Eye trait is more rare.
