Yes they are because I have a rottweiler and he is a good protective dog and if my brother goofs off and hits me my dog protects me and bites him HARD :P LOL but there still good dogs and I love my rottweiler and he is the best dog ever! I <3 ROTTWEILERS

∙ 13y agoRottweilers are great pets. You probably have heard they are mean or dangerous but that's not true at all. Rottweilers have the potential to be dangerous but are not if you treat them well. Overall, Rottweilers are just as dangerous or mean as any other dogs.
They are very loyal and good guard dogs. They may seem intimidating but are good with adults and children and usually other pets.

∙ 12y agoi had one when i was a child. they are good dogs if you get them when there puppies. me and my rottwiler(timbo) grew up together. he was very protective. Also his mother (lucy) was very protective of me. when i would try to go into the road she was herd me back to the house so i wouldnt be in the road

∙ 12y agoRottweilers have a very kind, gentle, and loyal nature to them, but you have to be devoted if this dog is going to fit in with your family. Rottweilers with family's is a great idea, as rottweilers are very calm with young kids and very energetic and easy to train. If you don't socialize your rottweiler early, then you may have a dog with some behavior problems.
