No, not always.

WikiAnswers is a collaboration of many people, and most of the users provide answers to the best of their ability.

No single resource is universally correct. You should always use more than one source for your research.

In addition:

Many of the answers are correct. However, many of the answers fall into categories such as:

  • an opinion of the writer, which is presented in good faith but is not entirely correct
  • flat-out wrong, but is presented in good faith
  • flat-out wrong, but is presented maliciously
  • the equivalent of graffiti
  • biased to present one opinion

The category supervisors and other contributors are always at work tending the answers, and trying to weed out misinformation, vandalism and misdirection.

WikiAnswers depends on questions and answers from the community. It's up to the community to check references and update answers according to information they can verify. That's the beauty of a wiki! If you see a wrong answer, you can fix it!

anyone can answer the questions, i wouldn't trust what atleast 65% of what ppl say on here.

Wikianswers is not always correct. Anybody can say anything they want to

Like anyplace on the web, WikiAnswers is one source for information. It is your responsibility to be a smart consumer and verify the information you find here.

One of the things about WikiAnswers is that it's a community effort to answer almost any question. Many of the questions asked have no real 'right or wrong' answer as many people come searching opinions or esoteric information.

So, yes. Most of the information here is exactly correct, but it is your responsibility to be the final judge.

Some are, some are not.

Most of the questions are community answered.

Also many questions have subjective answers, which may differ depending on what type of an answer you are looking for.

Contributors try their very best to give you a concise and correct answer, however, there may be a case where a contributor isn't completely correct.

There are plenty of answers on Answers.com that give decent answers. As long as the person knows what they are talking about and not messing around on the site, the correct answers can be given.

Wikianswers is not always correct because anyone can easily edit the answers. It isn't always wrong either.

The majority of questions answered on Wiki are correct and accurate. Not all, because there is a significant minority that choose to vandalise answers. Never fear though, because our Supervisors and Vandal Patrol teams work tirelessly to remove tese scourges, and replace them with the true answers.

Sometimes but the constantly working supervisors of WikiAnswers.com patrol WikiAnswers for vandaling users that answer questions with wrong/insulting answers. This way the site is kept "clean" and more reliable.

We will always try to give you the right answer every time but if not ask the question again and then someone else will pick up your question and give it a better answer. But if you're still not sure you could search it somewhere else.

Although we strive to make a permanent information source through Q&A, we can not guarantee that every answer is correct. If you feel that something is not right, why not flag it so we can check?
