Red foxes are more widespread, living almost anywhere in the world, whereas artic foxes live in mostly polar areas (Outskirts of Greenland, Russia, Etc.) Red foxes have an orangish coat, with black ears and black socks, whereas artic foxes are a thick snow white all over to help them blend in with their natural envoroment. Yes, red foxes and arctic foxes can infact interbreed. Because they are the same species (fox) this would be possible. The arctic fox and red fox live close enough to each other so that they could mate.

No, the answer previous to mine is not correct. Red fox and Arctic fox are two different species. Red foxes and arctic foxes can only have kits together if a human went to a lab and had the semen of a red or arctic fox put into the other's eggs, and then when the cross species were born, they would be sterile. This means that in the wild, they would not be able to reproduce. Some color morphs in the red fox species include: red, silver, cross, marbled, white, albino, white marbled, red marbled, and sunglow. There are many others.

This is possible, however Arctic foxes and don't usually come in contact with one another due to where they live. Most foxes are wary of each other and won't usually intrude on another foxes' territory anyway.

While the Arctic fox and the red fox are members of the same genus (not the same species) and share a lot of habitat in common, there seems to be no evidence that they interbreed. Red foxes have also been observed eating the smaller Arctic fox.
