It is doubtable that Disney will be opening another park anytime soon. Hong Kong Disneyland opened recently and they are currently fixing up Disney's California Adventure over in Anahiem in the U.S. Disney will always be expanding, but don't expect another park anytime soon.

∙ 7y agoThere is plenty or speculation & rumors of a fifth Disney park in Orlando but zero evidence via an official Disney announcement so there's no reason to believe a fifth Disney park is being planned. Walt Disney World's biggest additions are Animal Kingdom's Pandora The World of Avatar that opened in May 2017 & Hollywood Studio's Star Wars Experience which is reportedly opening in 2019.

∙ 14y agoThere has been talk for years about a 5th park opening. I heard it was going to be geared to teens -- many roller coaster rides -- and villain themed. When I was down there in the summer of 2009, I saw they were breaking ground but it turned out to be a new hotel and Golf course. Plans yes -- construction not yet.

∙ 7y agoIt's possible that at some point in the future the Disney corporation might decide to open a 5th theme park in Walt Disney World, but as of September 2016 all announced construction consists of expansions to the existing parks rather than creation of an entirely new one.
