The Wayans brother were raised with a familiarity with Jehovah's Witnesses. Some of their family members are or were Jehovah's Witnesses. Damon Wayans was rumored to have studied with the witnesses back about the time he made the movie "Major Payne." As far as it seems at present, I am unaware of any of the Wayans brothers who actually became Jehovah's Witnesses.

It depends on the definition of 'scientist'. Further education at college/university level isn't encouraged amongst Jehovah's Witnesses and so any Witnesses who are 'scientists' most probably got their degrees before becoming a Witness.
Jehovah's Witnesses only have one religious celebration, that of the Lord's evening meal (or last supper). On a personal level they celebrate any joyous occassion that is not connected with false worship. Jehovah's Witnesses thus celebrate marriages, births, graduations and any other number of occassions.
