Chances are in the trillions to 1 of earth being sucked in a blackhole (created by nature.) We are much more likely to be slammed into by an asteroid or a comet. Blackholes are pretty rare - they take a lot of energy to produce.
The answer to this question is unknown, as of right now there is no threat. But there is still a possibility that this could happen, if a black hole were to be in the path of earth we could tell be changes in the atmosphere and changes in the order of the planets. Scientist say that earth would lose. I disagree. I think with the right precautions we can avoid this.
Seems like we have a whole bunch of them here already. Blackholes in California... TONS of blackholes in MY family... and... oh, wait. You said BLACK holes. My bad...
no not really, the sun is a giant not a supergiant so when the sun dies in 5 billion years it will turn into a white dwarf then a dead star
Should Earth ever collide with a black hole, it would get destroyed.
The nearest black hole to Earth is V4641 Sgr and located 1600 light years away.
You cannot see a black hole when you are on Earth, unless a black hole were to absorb Earth, which even then, you would see it in a split-second before it would engulf you
The earth would become a black hole.
Never, because if we can thrive in it than we are not in a black hole
A black hole can,but it is very rare for a black hole big enough to swallow Earth.
No. Earth would be destroyed if a black hole came anywhere close to it.
