I've lived in Canberra for the past 15 years and it hasn't snowed here once although I am told it has happened in the past. The most we get might be some light sleet but no actual snow that can settle.

Yes, it does snow in Canberra, but not on a regular basis. However, it has been known to snow at odd times, such as October, which is Australia's springtime.
