Yes. There are many poolplayers in the US that have a wide variety of handicaps for play. For 1 handed play, a mechanical bridge is often used rather than use of the bridge hand.
At 60 deg pool water is extreamly cold to human skin, the kind of water that makes you jump back out of the water as soon as you get in and i tried to get used to 60 deg water and it took me about 45 minutes to ever have the water be o.k. to my skin so I dont belive you could ever get used 60deg water.
