Scholastic Counts is a similar program to Accelerated Reading.
Accelerated Reader is very expensive software. You can't take tests online for free. Your school wants to be able to monitor students taking tests.
The object of Accelerated Reader is to improve reading skills, not pass tests.
well if your school is a user on the internet ask for your login and it will be free
No, not if you read the book.
You can find a free Accelerated Reader test for 'Hatchet' in most schools. These schools have the programs set up for children.
Each school will have their own log in for the accelerated reader tests. To find out how to access the test for a specific school, a parent should speak to the child's teacher.
There are some free practice tests on the Accelerated Reader web site. Check the Renaissance web site.www.renaissance.com/products/accelerated-reader/sample-quiz
There are no "study guides" for any AR books. You are allowed to use your book during testings, and there are only 10 (or 20) questions. If you have read the book, there is no good reason why you would fail. Some tests include trick questions (For instance, the "Gone with the Wind" test has a couple of trivial facts in the quiz) but you will not need a study guide.
