No, Humpback whales need saltwater to live, and Lake Michigan is a freshwater lake. Humpback whales primarily feed on krill (saltwater shrimps) and small, schooling (saltwater) fishes. While they may migrate 16,000 miles EACH year, they go where the food is, in summer. Then they live off of their fat reserves all winter long.
