There actually already are two sequels to the smash hit X-Men movie. They are X2: X-Men United, and X3: The Last Stand. There is also a spin-off movie about Wolverine in the works titled X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Then yes. They're making two.
There's a new Wolverine Origins sequel.
And a new X-men First Class film coming out, which has begun filming (it looks good, Google it.)
Also there has been a lot of rumors about more Origins films - So far I've heard Magneto and Storm origins are the top contenders.

I heard they are going to make at least two more One I heard was another X-Men Origins but its supposed to be X-Men Origins: Magneto and another was called X-Men First Class and its supposed to have the young x-men with the original first x-men like Jean Grey, Hank McCoy as the Beast, Onoro Monroe as Storm, Scott Summers as Cyclops, Banshee, Magneto, Mystique, Moria MacTaggert, and Emma Frost.

Directors are still brainstorming the idea for another wolverine spin off - the story line has been released online and it looks ruddy gud!! Theres going to be a magneto origins movie released in a few years and i dont mean the X-MEN: first class movie which looks alright but the characters are a bit naff. Either way i have my fingers crossed.
