Are wills public record in the courthouse?

Yes, a will is a public record that can be found in a courthouse that is was probated in. However, a will is only a public record when the testator has passed away and the will has been probated. Until that time, the will is kept wherever the testator decides and would not be available unless the testator chose to share it with you.
