nope!! if you are a vegan, you eat NOTHING that comes from animals.
NO!! Chickens are meat! Now dairy products can be eaten when you're a vegetarian.
NO, as long as the dairy cows are still milking the would still be dairy products.
A lacto vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat or eggs, but still consumes dairy products. Dairy products in the lacto vegetarian diet include milk, yogurt, butter and cream, for example. They do avoid cheeses that are made with rennet (derived from the stomach of calves, used in cheese culture), as well as products containing gelatin (made from animal hooves). There are cheeses out there, such as Tillamook, that do not contain rennet.
It can depend on the level of vegetarianism, so yes and no. A vegetarian who still allows for dairy or egg products in their diet could probably eat peanut butter. But some companies add butter into their peanut butter, and taht is a dairy product. So those who don't allow for dairy products might have to chose a vegan peanut butter brand instead.
Vegetarians who still consume dairy (some do and some don't) are able to eat yogurt.
Vegetarians can eat smoked salmon and they will still be a vegetarian. There are different types of vegetarians for example vegan vegetarians which eat nothing that comes from a animal and no dairy products.
A vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat of any kind: land animals or sea creatures. There is a different types of vegetarians :Ovo vegetarianism includes eggs but not dairy products.Lacto vegetarianism includes dairy products but not eggs.Ovo-lacto vegetarianism (or lacto-ovo vegetarianism) includes animal/dairy products such as eggs, milk, and honey.Veganism excludes all animal flesh and animal products, including milk, honey, and eggs, and may also exclude any products tested on animals, or any clothing from animals.Raw veganism includes only fresh and uncooked fruit, nuts, seeds, and vegetables. Vegetables can only be cooked up to a certain temperature.Fruitarianism permits only fruit, nuts, seeds, and other plant matter that can be gathered without harming the plant.Buddhist vegetarianism (also known as su vegetarianism) excludes all animal products as well as vegetables in the allium family (which have the characteristic aroma of onion and garlic): onion, garlic, scallions, leeks, or shallots.Macrobiotic diets consist mostly of whole grains and beans.and semi-vegetarian who eats white meat (including fish) or red meat. There is a type of lifestyle diet called pollotarin or pollo-pescatarian.Though it seems alot of vegetarians are offended by it because they're are still eating meat.Pescatarians are like vegans but they eat dairy and seafood.Pollotarians are like pescatarians but they eat chicken and turkey.
You should eat at least 3 dairy products each day, but you still need all the other food groups to keep a balanced diet
alex surez IS a vegetarian but says that he isnt a big veggie and he will still eat some dishes such as pasta with chicken :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I only know of 6, sorry not 9, but here they are... 1. Pollo-Vegetarian - Excludes red meat (beef, steak, ect.), but allows for meats like chicken or fish. (*) 2. Pesco-Vegetarian / Pescatarian - Excludes red and white meat, but can eat fish. (*) 3. Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians - No meat, allows for dairy and egg products. 4. Lacto-Vegetarian - No meat, no eggs, allows for dairy products. 5. Vegetarian - No meat, dairy, or egg products. 6. Vegan - No animal food or products (including clothing like silk or leather and occasionally wool, no honey). (*) - Depending on the person, they may or may not allow dairy or egg products.
It depends on the type of vegetarian. Vey strict vegetarians use no animal products whatsoever. Others will eat eggs or milk products. Still others eat fish and or poultry. A strict vegetarian whether or not he was vegan, would not eat butter. An ovo-lacto vegetarian (eggs and or milk) might. A piscatarian (fish eater) or aviparous (bird eating) vegetarian might.
Sarah Bettens is not a vegan, but she is a vegetarian. But she still eats chicken, so she's a quasi-vegetarian. She likes restaurants such as Mellow Mushroom in Johnson City, TN, USA and likes to shop at Earth Fare.
She appears to be one that still consumes some animal products like drinking milk but she still doesn't eat meat.
