Car accidents kill A LOT more people than sharks. Slipping in the bathroom kills more people than sharks.
Unless you're a pro diver or dedicated surfer, shark attacks are too rare to sensibly worry about.
Oddly enough, bees kill more people in a year, largely to to Allergies. Despite the amount of coverage they get fatal shark attacks are quite rare.
You are far more likely to be killed by lightning than by a shark.
yes
The answers slightly depends on whether you include all killing methods. Surely, mosquitos that spread malaria kill more people than any other insect, but technically, that's the malaria, not the insect itself. Locusts swarms destroy crops causing famine and thus also death, but will only do so when in very large numbers. In this case, the insects themselves are responsible, but only indirectly. I think bees kill most when it comes to stings, but the victims are usually allergic to bee stings. The giant Asian hornet seems to have the nastiest sting out there. It can be lethal even to people that are not allergic, but causes less fatalities than the bee stings (probably occurs less). So, in pure numbers: mosquitos, in (direct or indirect) responsibility: bees.
No of course not. Actualy they all are friendly. They will just attack you because they think you are a turtle of a fish. It is there instinct to attack you if they see you out in the open. If you are up in their area then they might attack you because you are near their kids.
People are spending more time in the shark's territory
The Matawan Maneater, was a great white shark which during the summer of 1916, attacked numerous people, killing several. The attacks occurred along the length of the New Jersey shoreline, prompting a shark hunt. The shark believed to be responsible for the attacks was caught and killed, near Matawan New Jersey where the final shark attacks took place. On autopsy, human remains were found within the shark, though none of the remains corresponded to the victims of the attacks, leading many to speculate there was more than one shark involved, though the shark attacks ceased after the one shark was caught. The short answer: Dead.
Shark attacks rarely happen! You have a way more likely chance to win the lottery. if you're on vacation at the beach, don't be afraid to at least go into a shallow part. If so, please like it!:)
More people are killed by bee stings than shark attacks:)
It depends on the place they are. In some oceans there may be more shark attacks then jellyfish stings.
you are more likely to get killed by a coconut then a shark most shark attacks are non fatal
A jellyfish is! because more people are killed by them than sharks!
Mosquitoes are not poisonous but they can spread diseases, some of which can be fatal. People who die from mosquito-spread diseases far outnumber the people killed by shark attacks.
youre proably more likely to get killed by a shark than lightining
yes. if startled wild elephants are a danger to practily anything that moves
nO, nOt really. it kind Of depends On where yOu are, but yOu are mOre likely tO get stung by a bee than get attacked Or killed by a shark.
Depends on the species. The two biggest, the basking shark and the whale shark, are filter feeders and can't hurt humans unless they ram or swipe at you. Many are too small to be a realistic threat. Sharks will eat a dead animal, and kill if necessary. But shark attacks to humans are quite rare. If you are swimming where sharks are, the shark might mistake you for a seal, a dolphin or some other animal. In fact, it is extremely rare for a shark to attack a human knowing what their victim is. Sharks can smell blood from miles away, and are easily attracted to it.
