It really depends on how long after the bleeding you had the blood test. If you had the blood test within 5 days after the bleeding and it was negative then its possible you wasnt pregnant. But if you had the blood test less than 5 days after the bleeding and it was negative, then you was not pregnant. But a pregnancy test should only go positive when HCG has been detected and this is only during pregnancy.
negative= not pregnant positive= pregnant be sure to read the instructions on the pregnancy test package
Unlikely - the bleeding probably was your period

If you are four weeks pregnant you will have enough hCH to have a positive pregnancy test.
Positive pregnancy tests are far more likely to be accurate than negative tests. If you had even one positive pregnancy test, you were extremely likely to have been pregnant at the time you did the test. If the bleeding was after the positive tests ran, but before the negative test, then the bleeding was likely symptomatic of a miscarriage. However, if even one positive test was taken AFTER the bleeding, then you are probably still pregnant. Take good care of yourself either way- take a prenatal vitamin, and it's a good idea to see your HCP.
if you are bleeding heavily than you probably aren't pregnant, but if you have had a positive pregnancy test and are bleeding heavily you need to see a doctor
go see a doctor ANSWER BY XxPINKPRINCESSxX Hi did you take a pregnancy test did it come up positive? If not how did you know that you are pregnant cause if it came up negative and your thinking your pregnant then got your period your not pregnant right!!! If you got a positive pregnancy test then got a little bleeding it could be Implantation bleeding which is nothing like a period. It can be pink/brown/red thick/stringy. It can happen from 1 to 3 days . 1 in 3 women get it . If you got a positive pregnancy test then got a period then you have to go and see a doctor. You could be having a period while pregnant which is common for most women. My story is I got Implantation bleeding didn't get a pregnancy test 2 weeks after I came on my period I could be pregnant or I could be not. some girls have periods while pregnant and they don't know
The bleeding, however slight, and the negative pregnancy test both indicate that no, you are not pregnant.
This happened to me when I got pregnant with my third child. The first test was negative and the second positive. From what I understand, a pregnancy test can give a false negative but rarely gives a false positive.
When you have your period it is 99% that you are not pregnant. If you are pregnant there is HCG in your system therefore even with a light period you can take the test and it would come up positive despite the bleeding. Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy will not affect the outcome of a pregnancy test. A pregnancy test will only look for HCG in your urine & will only turn positive when HCG has been found in your urine. Vaginal bleeding will not affect the result at all hun. However you should not be experiencing vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy. Light bleeding is common during the implantation bleeding process but not every pregnant woman will experience this. Brown spotting can also occur during pregnancy. A pregnancy test will only be negative when you're not pregnant or when you performed the test too early. A pregnancy test can usually performed 2-3 weeks after intercourse & the result will be accurate. However it is advisable you see your Doctor for a pregnancy blood test or if you suspect you're miscarrying, go straight to A&E for a thorough examination.
