If you where to be 5 foot high a good horse would be about 15HH(Hands high) to 16HH.
Ponies are strong and can carry an adult but i say that if your legs are below the ponies stomach then you are tooo tall. Just my opinion...
hope this helped :D
No, actually, she would be too tall. I know someone who is about that height and rides a pony that size, and her feet are nearly at his knees when she rides bareback.
A pony.

Although you do not need to own a horse or pony, to join the United States Pony Club (USPC) you need to have access to a horse or pony for lessons, ratings, and rallies.
pony- 14.1hh and anything under. horse- 14.2hh and anything over.
4 foot
It's not age, but height. A 12hh pony would probably need a rider shorter than about four feet.
shank's pony is an expression meaning travelling by foot

A pony can be anything under 14.2 hands high.
A pony.
Well this will depend on how you plan to keep the pony. If you put it on a drylot you can use a 40'-60' round pen with a run in. If you use a pasture I would recommend 1- 1.5 acres and a run in.
A pony can be up to 14.2 hands so 1 hand =4 inches that would make it 58 inches.

Shanks pony, or othewise put on foot.
