1.] Answer with the appropiate greeting.[ Good Morning, Afternoon etc ] and name the
company the person is working at.
2.] State your name[ i.e. Stacy] or title[ Mr. Anderson's secretary ]
3.] Ask the caller how you may be of assistance.
4.] Properly direct the call or take a message [ask for a Tel. # if not offered by the caller.]
5.] Make sure the message gets to the proper person and calls are returned.
Say good-bye and wish the person a good day.
