They can marry at age 18. If you look up statistics you will realize most marriages at that age do not work out. You might think you are in Love but it is a young Love and you are not mature enough to realize that. You should make sure you have good jobs, have college out of the way. Getting married young and having no money to support yourself will start things out in a bad way. It is definitely not true that you can live on Love alone. You are too immature at this age to know right from wrong. If it is true Love then it will last so their is no reason to jump into anything.Stay at home to save money, go to college and save up so that your future together will be a good one.By that time your parents will be happy for you and support you in your decision to marry and be proud of your decision. You might think your parents are stupid but remember they are looking out for your best interest and they Love you or otherwise they wouldn't care.

In most states, a 17 year old may only marry with the consent of the parents. Specific requirements vary. Some states require the parents to be present at the court house. Some states require both parents consent regardless of the parents marital status or custody of the minor. Rhode Island & Massachusetts allow marriage under 18 without parental consent, but it must be filed and approved through the courts. Georgia & Florida allow marriage without parental consent if the woman is pregnant, but it must be filed and approved through the courts and the pregnancy must be confirmed by a doctor. No other states allow marriage under the age of 18 without parental consent.

AnswerThere are no laws for dating so that is up to your parents. For sex the minor has to be 18 if the adult is over 18. You can marry but with parental consent.

He can marry a hanif woman who is not his close kin (mother, daughter, sister, etc.) and who is not currently married to someone else. He cannot marry a non-human (chimpanzee, jinnya, etc.), a male person, a close relative or a married woman (because Islam does not allow a woman to have two husbands at once). He cannot marry a woman without her consent, because forced marriage is not allowed, or without her guardian's consent; and he cannot have more than four wives at one time.A hanif means a Muslim, a Jew or a Christian. A Muslim man cannot marry a polytheist (Hindu, Shinto, etc.) or an atheist. He can only marry a devout woman of Abrahamic faith. In practice, however, both Jews and Christians are forbidden to marry outside their own faith. A truly devout Jewish or Christian woman would never agree to marry a Muslim man. If she did agree, she would not be "devout", and therefore he would not be allowed to marry her. Therefore, in real-world conditions, a Muslim man can only marry a Muslim woman.

No Muslim man or woman can marry a Hindu man or woman.

User Avatar

No, because the Muslim woman should not marry a non-Muslim man. If the woman does marry a Hindu, the marriage would not be legal according to the religion's law.

A person must be 18 to get married in Maryland. If they are under 18, parental consent is required, though there are exceptions:If the woman to be married is pregnant or has given birth, and a licensed doctor provides a certificate of such, then a person age 16 or 17 (be it the male or female of the couple, or both) can get married without consent of the parent. If a party is 15 years old, then a marriage is only legal if they have parental consent and the woman is pregnant or has given birth.A person 14 and under cannot get married at all in Maryland, no matter the circumstances.
