He made bad choices when picking his first cabinet. Only his Secretary of State

turned out to be a really good choice.

Having funds moved out of the national bank before its charter expired caused

a financial panic with the people it did business with, and really served no good purpose.

He treated the former Spanish Governor of Pensacola unwisely when he was Governor of

Florida.

He probably could have avoided that duel that almost killed him at the time, and

left a bullet in his chest that caused him much pain from time to time his entire life.

He should have gotten a written copy of his wife's divorce decree before marrying

her.

He allowed himself to be swindled out of a lot of money when he accepted the

notes of a lawyer acquaintance who had moved to Philadelphia and seemed to

be trustworthy and financially secure. It turned out that he was neither.

december 25 1895 Andrew jacksons parents said he could be anything he wanted so he became a crack head

That was the original answer, but Im gonna make it more specific. Three details I think were a little over-the-top for jackson was-

1. He started the whole nullification crisis

2. He closed down the bank of US

3. He caused many Indian tribes to move out of their lands, thus creating the Trail of Tears
