There is no magic way to "unlock" a modern scanner, so the frequency ranges listed in the operating manual are all that the scanner is capable of receiving. If you want wider coverage you'll need to purchase a scanner that provides it. Bill B Listening in since the 60's
It has to be unlocked using a Tech II scanner
You don't. A modern scanner is capable of receiving the frequencies listed in the operating manual, and no more. If you need wider coverage you'll need to purchase a scanner that provides it. Bill B Listening in since the 60's
go to a locksmith or use a door code scanner and unlock it.
Simply press the SCAN button to put the scanner in scanning mode, then press the number button for the channel you want to lockout or unlock. For example, to lockout channel 5, just press the "5" button while scanning; to unlock channel 5, press "5" again. This works for many Regency scanner models.
this is part of the question- do you use it to unlock your phone every time you use your phone or is it only to unlock settings?
Ignoring the problems that biometric devices often have of false negatives (i.e. the scanner doesn't recognise you because you didn't put your finger on it correctly), one problem with using any biometric device (such as a fingerprint scanner) is that if someone figures out a way to "spoof" (fool) the scanner, there is no way to change your fingerprint. For example, if my credit card is stolen I can cancel it. If my password is stolen, I can change it. If someone has my fingerprints, well, I guess there is nothing I can do to stop them from accessing whaterver system they unlock.
Not out of the box. The Nexus 5's screen lock settings include Slide, Face Unlock, Pattern, PIN, and Password. However, you can get a third party fingerprint scanner that does a similar function to the iPhone 5S.
you go to the abandoned ship, go in one of the cabins, there should be a little water area. Use surf to swim, then there's a place to dive. Use dive and go underwater. Kepp swimming until you get to the end where there's a little opening. Go in and press B to go up. You'll have to unlock doors by going into rooms and finding the keys. In the last room you'll have to look for more items. The scanner is there
To find keys in the abandoned ship, search through the barrels found randomly throughout the ship. Do this by walking over to one, facing it and pressing A. Mostly, it will say something like "its only trash" so keep looking through all the barrels.
