Bergamot oil is found helpful in treating vitiligo. It contains psoralens which acts as a photosensitizer and makes our skin sensitive to the tanning effect of sunlight which helps in repigmentation.

Some treatments of vitiligo requires massage but not oil for example if you are using any ointment or herbal oil for treating your vitiligo then massage is required till it is absorbed.
