So at school in science this term we are trying to do what you are trying to do. We are still in the middle of observing the iron nails but what i am using is:
The way that is working the best at the moment is actually the nail polish!!!!
Hope ive helped :D
during a qualitatively controlled investigation cling film is the best way of preventing rust,,,, so wrap your car in cling film dopes during a qualitatively controlled investigation cling film is the best way of preventing rust,,,, so wrap your car in cling film dopes
paint them with nail polish,, a reddy goldy color normally does the job.
You Can basically keep it most of the time in hydrogen peroxide and that shall keep it from rusting
iron (steel) for example if its not galvanized
For finger nails :no,the other nails are iron , copper, etc but not plastic
Yes & No. Iron is an Element with symbol Fe. Most Nails are an alloy of Iron and other metals and usually coated or anodized. However most nails will still have the properties of pure Iron, such as magnetism and oxidizes rapidly. Iron is an element. Nails are made using iron or iron alloys.
One way to separate iron nails and salt is by using a magnet. Since iron is magnetic, you can move a magnet over the mixture and the iron nails will be attracted to the magnet, allowing you to separate them from the salt. Another method is to dissolve the mixture in water, as salt dissolves readily, and then use filtration to separate the solid iron nails from the dissolved salt solution.
You drag a heavy magnet through them - It will gather the iron nails.
iron nails are nails made up of iron
Iron - use a bunch of iron nails, wrapped many times with insulated copper wire, if making your own electromagnet.

Very acidic chemicals can melt iron nails.
Nails are made of iron. If you are as tough as iron then you are really tough.
metal nails rust ANSWER: Iron nails do.
Nails made from Iron will try to return to a simpler state such as Iron Oxide or rust
A ferrous object is one that contains iron. Most nails are iron or steel (an iron alloy). Some nails are made of brass, which would be non-ferrous.
