She was called Bloody Mary because in the span of 2 years she had 284 protestants killed. They were all burnt at the stake. but why i wanna see them. realy
Mary Tudor, Queen of England was called Bloody Mary because as a devout Catholic she killed lots of Protestants (about 280) for their religion. This is why she is called Bloody Mary.

If anyone was Protestant then they were labelled "Heretics" and burned alive.

She killed people. Mary killed Protestants (non Catholic people) by burning them to the steak. Their (either blood or skin) was to represent them being unclean.
