You need to know your 0 weight loss or gain and make a small deficit from there.
People try and eat at too large of a deficit(resticitive diet and to quickly so it if they lose any weight they gain it back). They essentially are trying to shed big while their body is trying to hold on. You need to sneak up on your body. My experience has been (went from 210lb to 173lb) that eating barely under my 0 weight loss or gain number works best. I have seen it work better for others as well.

Stop buying the powder or having it in your home. Do something else for 20 minutes when the craving hits you. Basically, it is like breaking any other habit--you also may need a therapist to help you past it.

To stop eating you need to have a routing like evey day you have a grinila bar at 3:00 sarp
