Try a Ford Ranger pickup. Any F100 frame will be too wide to fit the tires under the fenders. A common swap is an S10 frame.
The wire may be shorted to the frame.
You didn't mention what year S10 but, there is a pre-fuel pump filter in the fuel tank, a replaceable fuel filter along the frame rail and a filter with each injector. The one along the driver's side frame rail is the one that is typically replaced during a service.

probaly a frame bushings ,upper and lower saturate with wd40 it should stop for a while
