no i have two in with mine and they all get on
Yes, if the water temperature is between 72 and 82 degrees. Other than that they would be fine.
I do not know of any Algae eaters that can live in cold water . Goldfish are cold water fish. So unless you can find some species of cold water algae eater the answer is no they can not be kept together successfully.
around 2 to 2 and a half years.
No it wont it just have its eggs and still live but don't get an algae eater if do, get one because they will eat your fish but it only a Pecos algae eater they will eat your fish they don't move in the morning but they are active at night
Either the Chinese Butterfly (hillstream loach) or the Chinese algae eater. Both eat algae, both stay smaller than standard plecos and both are live plant safe.
Yes, I have had lots of experience with Oscars. One of mine died recently from a sickness. Algae eater fish are not dominant, in this case the Oscar does not take it as a threat and does not bother it. The answer to your question is yes, an Oscar can live with an algae eater fish.
no they cant
No. Your tank is ridiculously overstocked. Your algae eater will eventually grow to the size of 12 inches long. Your mollies need more space. And your shrimp will soon die because of the polluted water from the overcrowded conditions.
In the average aquarium a sucking loach or Chinese algae eater it's more common name will live around 7 - 10 years, but claims of up to 15 years are not uncommon.
My neon tetras lived with a couple of algae eaters quite happily (I think. It was difficult to ask them).
Not Long. These different species of fish need totally different water temperatures and so should never be kept together. The Algea eater is a tropical fish and should never go below 70F. The goldfish are cold water fish and should be kept at around 55F to 65F. Applying the basic rule of all aquarists " 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water " you will see that the tank is far too small to accomodate even one goldfish properly so the life span of the goldfish depends on how often you change their water and how good the filter is.
Try bottom cleaners, algae eaters, black moors, and guppies for sure.
I used to have snails with my goldfish and they got along swimmingly!
