This is a grey area. Many places in the world currently allow the import of nonscheduled prescription medications for personal use as long as they are not narcotics nor things specifically controlled. There are international pharmacies that ship things without requiring prescriptions. If they refuse to ship to your country, it would be because so many of their packages get seized. So the pharmacies know how far into the grey area to push. If it is not profitable to do business in a particular area, they won't do business there. So check your own laws and check the online pharmacies. I know of one in New Zealand which will ship nearly anywhere without a prescription, and they do have a UK version site.
Technically, SAMe is not even a medication, but a nutrient, and a natural substance found in the body. But there are laws in some countries against natural supplements, and some for good reason. You should be able to buy the precursors to SAMe such as B-complex. I don't know if 5HTP, tryptophan, or St. John's Wort is an option, but if they are, you could try these.
