You should check your machine and, if this is the case, you could run the CPAP from the vehicle's 12-volt system without having to use an inverter. Of course, you would need the appropriate DC power cord to do this.

These are cheaper and would not be as efficient/reliable as your home cpap, but if it was slightly damaged, you wouldn't be out the full cost of the home machine.
