We have the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati. http:/www.flyingpigmarathon.com The name came from the winged pigs adorning the superstructure of one of our bridges. The pigs go back to the time when Cincinnati was nicknamed "Porkopolis" because of all of the slaughter houses and meat processing plants we used to have. A person will say "When pigs fly" to mean "never". Will you give me your bicycle? ...When pigs fly! If a pig is going to fly, it will need to buy an airplane ticket, just like everybody else.

∙ 14y agoYes. They don't jump for joy, but if they are cornered and want out, I have seen them jump a three foot partition. It was not pretty. I would add that the pigs generally do not clear the partition and in the end they knock it down as they go. But to the best of their ability, they "jump"

Just like humans, pigs cannot physically fly. You can get pigs on a plane, sure, but they will NEVER grow wings and fly. It's just an expression.

It's mostly male guinea pigs that are likely to attack each other because males are more aggressive toward each other. Guinea pigs don't have to be related and they sill don't fight. I have many piggies and none of them fight. Other then that guinea pigs are really cute, friendly,and cuddy animals.
