How much room do you have? How much money do you have? No lizard will act like a puppy, but most are cool to keep. Iguanas are popular and easy to care for, but they get big. Geckoes are cool but they get out if you're not careful. Talk to a pet store and see what will work for you as far as easy to care for and size - some lizards get large.

∙ 14y agoYes it is legal to have a pet snake as long as you have the pets certificate. I have had a pet snake and yes they are good pets to have! They may bite, hiss or raise themselves to scare you, but in time you will get used to them and will be able to tell when they are in a good mood or a bad mood, believe me I have had a snake before! A good snake for begginers in the corn snake! or ball python

∙ 12y agoWell it depends. If you want to a snake that eats mice i would get a corn snake but if don't want to feed your snake rodents i would get a ribbon snake, garter snake, or a rough green snake.
