It depends. You can be as young as 14 with parental consent if you are working at a wage earning job. I think you can also "drop out" if you are in some kind of work training or vocational training. Otherwise, it's probably 16, or until the principal thinks you have progressed to the 10th grade level or you get a GED. If you're asking the question, you probably need to stay in school because with the internet available you should be able to easily find the information on your own. Why trust a stranger like me or the other hacks that answer these things.

Go look at AZ Title 15, Chapter 8, Article 1.

15-802.D.4 states:

"D. A person is excused from the duties prescribed by subsection A or B of this section if any of the following are shown to the satisfaction of the school principal or the school principal's designee:

4. The child is over fourteen years of age and is, with the consent of the person who has custody of him, employed at some lawful wage earning occupation."
