if it came stock with the 305 it should bolt right up, but im no expert Z-44) yes i have a 1985 el camino that originally had a 305 and swapped it for a 350 pretty easily. you can actually fit a 383 with minor changes (different motor mounts etc.)
The base engine is the 350ci L48 V8 that puts out 180hp and the optional engine is the 350ci L82 V8 that puts out 210hp.
usually the SS has a 350ci or 454ci but the 454 should say 454SS on the lower part of each door near the front fenders
4bolt 350ci
1970-1972, SS was just a trim package, not anything special with the engine. So all 1970-72 El Camino's came with either a 350ci SBC, 396ci BBC, or a 454ci BBC. However the 396ci BBC was actually a 402ci BBC due tooff-center pistons so the factories had to bore out the cylinder ports 0.0030" which caused the 396 to really be a 402.
The 1993 Fleetwoods did not come with a LT1 engine. The engine is a L05, 350ci with 185 horsepower with throttle body fuel injection. The LT1 350ci with 260 horsepower was used in the 94, 95, and 96 Fleetwoods.
the 1974 base 350ci had 195hp.
no the bore is different
Horespower relates to the speed capacity of an engine and thus how fast the vehicle can go. The horsepower of a 1968 Olds 350ci is approximately 350 hp at top speed.
GM 350ci or 5.7L engine.
All 1976 Corvettes were 350ci. The engine numbers will tell you if it's a base engine, L48 or L82.
Around 230-250 depending on application I believe.
5 quarts with filter change.
