∙ 11y agoThe American College of Cardiology still recommends getting blood pressure below 140/90 in people up to 80 years old, and the American Heart Association says blood pressure should be under 140/90 until about age 75.

You will find that your blood pressure is perfectly normal! Normal range for a male is 120 mm Hg during the contraction of the heart (systole), and 80 mm Hg during relaxation of the heart (diastole). If your ever worried about your blood pressure always consult a medical practitioner.
163 is bad... 65 is great... a Dr. would certainly put you on a medication to get that systolic BP down... but he would probably also put you thru a stress test to make sure you dont have heart disease.
The blood pressure, 148/88 is considered to be high, stage 1.
