Yes you can. All the 1300 mA rating means is that adaptor can supply devices up to 1300 mA. The old adaptor's limit was 800 mA. The new adapter has 500 mA more in reserve if it is ever needed.

As long as the device that you are plugging into the 800 ma adapter does not draw more that 800 ma it will work.

∙ 10y agoYes, a 6 volt 800 mA adapter can be substituted for a 6 volt 600 mA adapter. The 800 mA adapter will just have a higher output capacity than the 600 mA adapter. You will have the ability to connect devices that have a higher amperage draw. Where before the maximum device that you could connect would be 600 mA now you can connect devices that draw up to 800 mA.
