The key code for an ignition key is different for each make and model of car. The thing to do is contact the dealership or a locksmith to find the correct key code for the make and model of the vehicle in question.
at my local Honda dealership the code 41336 was given to me for my cr-v 2002. if that doesnt work call a Honda dealership, they don't have to see the car , just give them the year and make and they should give you that info over the phone, hope that helps.
