This issue has arisen because of mistranslations. However, there is a large amount Jew-hatred among Muslims and an increasing amount of Muslim-hatred among Jews, making such friendships more difficult, but if both parties are willing to put aside bigoted feelings, they are perfectly capable of being friends.
