for the person who asked this question and the idiot that blindly answered no, I have to say it is possible. There's a handy little accessory that converts the ps1 and ps2 controller plug into a USB plug. All you do is plug your ps1 or ps2 controller into one side of the converter and plug the other end ,which is a usb, into your PC or Laptop. alternatively you can use a ps3 controller with its connector. the ps1 and ps2 thing works. not sure about the ps3 thing as I have never had to do it

∙ 13y agoYes NO You need to connect your PS3 to to a Broadband internet and a Modem or router. Your computer is also connected to the internet. The PS3 must be connected with WiFi or ethernet cable to the internet.

∙ 11y agoPS3 need a TV system which is not available on every computer Even though I had a media center computer I could not get mine to work from the A/V connections. It may have been other settings that I also needed to set up because it should be able to work on a media center PC. That does not mean that you would be able to do more than maybe record your play. The PC would only be processing the PS3 output from the A/V connection like the TV or HDTV does and you would not have an influence on the game, game play, or controllers
