Best Answer

The Dingo was native to Australia when it wassettled by the British.

It was originally assumed that they arrived with the first human inhabitants, However the dating of available fossil evidence supports the new view. the dingo arrived in Australia from Asia about 3,000 years ago.

Yes and no.

The dingo is found throughout Australia (except for Tasmania) and parts of southeast Asia. However, it is not native to Australia, having been introduced when the first Australian Aborigines arrived thousands of years ago.
