I have had many kidney stones {runs in the family} and yes, headaches are common, nausea, mild to severe pain and the location of pain depends on where the stone(s) are. Bleeding can occur. Best advice....see your doctor! I see a urologist regularly.

nope,the cause of kidney stones is the lack of water,it is relatively found in those that drink the required amount of water per day.when there is not enough water to dilute the uric acid,the pH level within the kidneys drops and become more acidic.an accessively environment in the kidney is conductive to the formation of kidey stones. :)

Yes, it can cause blood in the urine, due to minor damage to inside wall of kidney, ureter and/or urethra.

It would be very unusual for a kidney stone to cause a headache. They cause pain in the lower abdomen, where the kidney is located.
