Not usually. Check with your local governmental authority that governs land use. Restricting use of commonly used easements has not worked out for many in Arizona.

However, if the trails have been used by permission, then the landowner can revoke that permission at any time.

Your state may have specific laws that clarify or interpret the various factors regarding on-going rights by the public use of private ways.
