Can a large pituitary tumor cause numbness anywhere in the body?

My daughter had pain and numbness down one arm. Then she had numbness down one side. Then she had her face go numb. She has had an MRI. She hasn't had any results yet. They suspect TIA's or pituitary problems. They don't know yet. What is your input.?
