No job can be terminated because of Religion
An employer cannot discriminate based on religion, but a person can choose their employment based on religious beliefs.
I don't think that just because a person's kidney has failed, he will be terminated from his job. Because it is not a kind of communicable disease that will pass from one employ to another. A person's efficiency in job is not counted from his disease, he have. But the quality and quantity of work he does in his office. So, if someone is fit to do the job, he/she will not be terminated from his job.

Its not a religion, its a cult. I suppose it is a wealthy person's religion because you have to pay them to join and reach higher levels in the cult.

Then that person isn't a real friend. If somebody doesn't like you because of what religion you are, then so what, I'm Agnostic, and there are plenty of people that dislike me because of my religion.
Health Insurance Policies for the family can be purchased online or obtained through employers if the person is working. If the employment is terminated, an alternative source should be looked at if the requirement still exists.
