Well that is not quite, true. My husband and I married the same say his divorce to his ex was granted in Colorado. We were living in Oklahoma at the time, and in Oklahoma you have to wait six months after your divorse to marry again, that is why we chose to stay a few days in Colorado at his divorse hearing to then marry there, because the law in Colorado allowed us to.

∙ 15y agoThe answer to this depends on laws of the state where you live. In Texas, no, unless 1) you marry the person you just divorced; or 2) you get special permission from the judge.
