If it was hungry enough
Polar bears have killed and eaten people before, but this rare.
They are one of the few animals that has been known to actually hunt humans down to attack them.
It is not possible to survive being eaten by anything. But you might survive a bear eating a PORTION of you.
Technically yes, but this a question with wider implications. As the pinnacle predator of the Arctic what killed them and what will replace them?
And can we survive that?
Yes. A polar bear can kill a person.
Yes
Yes.
Yes, if global warming stops. the ice would stop melting, therefore helping the polar bears survive. The question was if humans could prevent it. Naturally, no, but humans could put polar bears in contained environments to allow them to survive in places like a zoo, but not in the Arctic.
If humans disappeared the bears will survive and won't get eaten.
a week
the north and south pole Anywhere without bamboo.
No, they could not live without ice.
no living things can survive without water for ever
that's like saying what are the role of humans on earth or bears or whatever. they have no roles but to survive, evolve and do whats in their nature.
A North American bear can survive below freezing temperatures while in their dormant period. EDIT : I'm not sure if all bears could survive below freezing. North American bears can, but for example, a Panda bear I'm not sure if it could.
The diet of black bears could bring them into conflict with humans because since black bears are omnivores they will eat almost anything. So therefore if humans ever try to get in the way, the next the black bear will be eating is the human.
There are a few examples of possible symbiotic relationships for black bears. It could be said that they have one with humans, as they commonly eat trash which is left out by humans. By the same token, they eat honey which is made by bees which could be said to establish a symbiotic relationship between the bears and bees.
No grizzly bears only attack humans if they think that you are going to cause harm to them...... Or grizzly bears attack humans if they get frightened by them..... But they rather have honey than humans
Bears can survive in almost any natural setting, including the forests of Yosemite. They can also travel to within a dozen meters of humans without being detected. Thus, Yosemite bears have had no problem getting to campgrounds in Yosemite, or anywhere else. Any place that bears have learned that easy food is available, they'll go there, until they are "taught" that the danger of entering a place is not worth the chance for food.
