Can a small 12 volt 200 watt electric motor run safely off a deep cycle battery whilst the battery is being charged at say at 20 amperes?
Should be OK.
If the motor draw is 200 watts, and the charge current is 20 amps, you've got (12 x 20) = 240 watts in and only 200 out.
The battery will charge at a rate of (40/12) about 3.3 amps, so be aware that
(i) the battery will take longer to charge than if the motor wasn't running, and
(ii) once you stop the motor, the charge current is the whole 20 amps and you'd need to be sure that the battery won't overcharge.
Yes. The static electric field inside a charged conductor is zero, no matter what the voltage is between the conductor and the rest of the world.
The most basic reason to use 220 instead of 11o is that for a given load Watts= Volts x Amperes Double the volts and you will halve the amperes. The rating of wire is the amount of amperes it can safely carry. Less amperes means you can use a smaller wire size. This will save money on the initial installation.
The UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) is a self contained unit containing a battery, an inverter and control circuits. They look after themselves, with regard to charge and discharge. No user interference required. When mains power is available, this is passed directly through to the computer. The battery is automatically monitored, charged, float charged and trickled to keep it in good health. They will not overcharge their battery. During a power failure, the inverter takes over… Read More
To safely break an electric circuit, you should shut off the switch.
The answer is no.
Use a hammer and gloves.
Can a cell phone battery rated 5.0V 0.6A 800mAh be substituted with a battery rated 4.75V 0.55A 1000mAh SAFELY?
probably not. get the right battery.
Even if you know how to reconnect it safely, you can probably be charged with theft if you reconnect it without authorization. Whatever the reason it was disconnected, the electric company may want to inspect or test the connected wiring to be sure it is suitable condition to be reconnected. You will not likely be authorized to connect it yourself. Likely only electric company personnel or a licensed electrician would be authorized.
You can safely charge it with up to a 10 amp battery charger.
No, not safely. It will not charge it, but it may make it explode.
Not safely. You can easily burn out both pieces.
Before you fix the vehicle, make sure you set the brakes on. This can help in avoiding accidents. You can use blocks or anything that can impede the movement of the automobile while it is being fixed. Safely try to remove the negative-charged cable from the battery before moving on with the task. Once you find the starter, you can find on it a mounting connection and a couple of electrical connections. Safely remove the… Read More
Disconnect the battery. It cannot blow without the battery. Same when putting it back. Make the electrical connections and install the airbag then reconnect the battery.
It determines the amount of electric current it can safely carry
To ensure the repair is carried out correctly and safely.
YES always disconnect the negative cable from the battery first then just be careful to hook up the negative cable to the battery as the last step
It is necessary to disconnect the battery to safely install a starter. When the battery is disconnected the radio loses its presets due to no power going to it.
You can safely charge it with a 15 amp charger. You can also charge it with a 1 amp charger it will just take longer. Do not overcharge the battery.
because there is no connection with the ground so it cannot pass from the electric to ground
As we know battery consist hazardous material so they they should be disposed safely one way is that go to retailer and give it to them they will recycle you and also will give you some money back. and another way is that dispose it iunder the ground after 1 meter depth.(far from residential area and agricultural field.)
This is a measure of battery capacity. It relates to how long a battery can produce a certain amount of current. For example, a fully charged 1500 mAh battery can provide 100mA for 15 hours (or 50 mA for 30 hours or 200 mA for 7.5 hours, etc.) The battery rating is the capacity for a new battery. After many charge/discharge cycles, you will start to see a reduced capacity. Related note: The capacity of… Read More
You can put less resistance (more load) on the battery with larger wires, but if you exceed a particular current output for a given duration, you will overheat the battery. To safely increase current output, use two batteries connected in parallel.
The same way you would vent an electric model. Just connect the vent pipe.
NO!!!!!! You'll blow the battery up. That is a very dangerous idea. The current of a battery and the current from an electrical socket from your home is entirely different and are not interchangeable without a converter. It would be very dangerous to try to hook up a vehicle battery to any electrical outlet without the proper converter, such as a battery charger that is designed to convert the currents. A DIFFERING OPINION In theory… Read More
It uses a very small, sealed battery, because it resides in the trunk. The battery features ventilation ports that attach to tubes inside the Miata trunk so it is safely ventilated outside of the cabin. The most common replacement is a WestCo Battery, specifically designed for the Miata.
An iPod battery pack can be removed by unscrewing or pushing off the back panel on the iPod. It can then be seen and slid out safely. There are instructions on the Apple website with pictures to help if required.
How can I temporarily disable the airbag in my 1994 Mercury Sable Sedan so that I can safely install a new audio receiver?
disconnect the battery.
First remove the Negative cable first, and then you can remove the positive cale safely. Al
Usually one that can maintain the voltage at 12 V so that it can safely charge a 12 V battery.
No it actually does have the posibility of catching on fire i would just stick with what you would normally use
Yes, but this condition is such an extreme one that: you must include the internal resistance of the battery when calculating the current you must include the resistance of all the wires when calculating the current it is unlikely you can find a 1V battery with high enough AHr rating to do this for more than a tiny moment of time before it dies a resistor having a value of 0.001 ohms is usually just… Read More
we can give pay people for their used battery and then recycle them safely as to try and help save the environment.
Yes. In North America household power is 120/240V at 60Hz and 45 Watts means it will only draw 0.375 Amperes. So it can safely be used
Always disconnect the negative cable first and reconnect the negative cable last. Do this and you won't get into trouble.
Duracell pile alcaline dated 2005 - 2008. Never used. Now 2014 can these batteries be used safely?
Allows the driver to adjust mirrors from the seating position he will be in when he uses them. Also allows him to safely adjust mirrors while driving.
Can you safely replace a dead 3V CR2032 lithium battery in a remote auto key with a CR 2025 What is the difference?
If it will fit it will work. They are both 3 volts.
Auto batteries contain Sulfuric acid and all batteries produce a very small amount of hydrogen gas which is highly volatile. If the battery is overcharged it will produce more hydrogen gas than the vents on the battery can safely release. Any spark can then cause an explosion. Also connecting a jumper cable in reverse can cause the battery to explode.
24/7: should be designed and tested for continuous duty at rated temp. Rick
If you are not talking literally about cutting a socket and are referring about the sockets circuit, then all that needs to happen is, a switch needs to be cut into the circuit.
How do I safely disconnect the air bag on a 2000 gmc 1500 to pull the steering wheel so I can replace the dimmer switch?
FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!Disconnect the neg battery cable from the battery. Then wait a few minutes before disconnecting the air bag connection.
Not if you fail a sobriety test. Added: Not if it affects your ability to operate the vechicle safely. Being prescribed the drugs is not a defense. You can be charged with DWI (Driving While Impaired).
comparative of safely is more safely and the superlative form is most safely
Should be on the lower rear end of the engine--Follow + battery cable Disconnect the - battery terminal Raise and safely secure vehicle Disconnect wiring harness at starter Remove mounting bolts Drop starter
An IPhone, or any rechargeable device, for that matter, should only be charged with the specific charger that was designed for it. This minimizes the risk of overcharging the batteries and damaging them.
Disconnect the - battery cable Lift and safely secure vehicle Remove wires from starter Remove mounting bolts Drop starter
Just disconnect the negative battery cable then install the speakers.
To safely ground an electrical appliance. If the hot touches the metal grounded case the circuit breaker will open and stop the current.
